Behold The Wood

By:  Dan Schute, S.J.
Arr. by:  Ron Michael Alquisada

Behold, behold the wood of the cross.
On which is hung our salvation.
O come let us adore.

Unless a grain of wheat shall fall,
Upon the ground and die,
It shall remain but a single grain,
And not give life.

And when my hour of glory come,
As all was meant to be
You shall see me lifted up
Upon a tree.

For there can be no greater love,
Shown upon this land,
Than in the one who came to die

That we might live.

Christ is Alive

By: Pamela Stotter

Christ is alive, with joy we sing,
We celebrate our risen Lord,
Praising the glory of His name.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

He is the grain of wheat that died,
Sown in distress and reaped in joy,
Yielding a harvest of new life.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

He is the sun which brings the dawn.
He is the light of all the world.
Setting us free from death and sin.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

He is the vine set in the earth,
Sharing our life, becoming man,
That man might share in God’s own life.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

He is the bread with comes from God,
Broken to feed us in our need,
Given to bring eternal life.

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Ave Maria (You by my side)

You by my side that’s how I see us
I close my eyes and I can see us
We're on our way to say I do
My secret dreams have all come true

I see it's you, your hand in my hand
This is the hour, this is the moment
And I can hear sweet voices singing
Ave Maria

Oh, my love, my love this can really be
That someday you'll wake down the aisle with me
Let it be, make it be that I'm the one for you
I'll be yours, all yours, now and forever.

I see the church, I see the people
Your folks and mine happy and smiling
And I can hear sweet voices singing
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, Ave Maria

(Repeat all if needed)
